Becoming Stewards

Picture… People from all different financial backgrounds meet once a week for 13 weeks to learn how to be better stewards of God’s money. All of life’s resources are viewed as God’s gifts.

Description… We invite people to participate in Financial Peace University, a 13-week life-changing ministry that empowers and teaches people how to make financial decisions.

Topics covered during the session include debt, retirement, mortgages, insurance, investments, college planning, and most importantly, how to be a joyful giver living in the light of God’s gifts, resources and promises.

Why… People struggle. Financial problems are the number one cause of divorce.

Seventy percent of all Americans live paycheck to paycheck, and personal finances are the largest source of stress in our lives.

Lives Are Changed…People get control of their finances. People begin to be able to handle God's money God's way. People begin to live a life of financial peace.

Connect… The next session begins in September 2007 and will meet Monday nights from 6:30 - 8:15 p.m.

Prayer… Lord, help us to no longer be a slave to the lender so that we can begin to be a better steward of the resources you have blessed each of us with.
