God’s Word
“Praise the Lord, for he has shown me his unfailing love.” — Psalm 31:21
Worship Leadership
Worship Leadership
Setting… Guitars, bass, drums, keyboard, vocalists – all jamming together in the Fellowship Hall. Wednesday night is practice – “Yes, we need to do it one more time. I know it’s late…sorry!” “Take that second verse and chorus again. We need a little more bass there!” We close with prayer. Sunday morning, back at it! It’s “GO TIME!” Last minute rehearsal. Prayer time. Finally, it’s band to the stage! Lights, action, PRAISE THE LORD!
Description… Grace Alone is our Horizon worship band. We have some of the most rocking musicians around! Week in and week out, they faithfully share the gifts that God has blessed them with to lead us in worship.
Why… “He came to live, live a perfect life. He came to be our living Word, our life. He came to die so we’d be reconciled. He came to rise, to show His power and might. That’s why we praise Him, that’s why we sing. That’s why we offer Him our everything. That’s why we bow down and worship this King. Because He gave his everything. Because He gave His Everything” — Tommy Walker
Lives Are Changed… It is an incredible blessing to lead God’s people in worship. As we worship together we are drawn closer to God in a special and unique way. When we freely open our hearts to God, worship is truly a profound and often transcendent experience of oneness with Him.
Connect... Share your musical gifts for God’s glory.
Prayer… Dear God, send your Spirit to move in us and work in us so that others may know your forgiving grace. For your glory, for your Kingdom, for your Name, O Lord, here I am. Amen
